Dr. Paisarn Sonthikorn has concurrently served as a lecturer in the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and the Deputy Director for Business and Cooperation Development, Institute for Scientific and Technological Research and Services at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi.  He holds S.B. and M.Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.  He also holds master's level certificates in project management, human resource management, and risk management from the University of Oldenburg, Germany and good governance for higher-education institute directors from Knowledge Networks Institute of Thailand.  His professional interest is in technology strategy in the digital age.   Dr. Paisarn is a regular participant of the Annual Meeting of Science and Technology in Society in Kyoto, Japan where world leaders in science and technology discuss important issues and network.
