Expertise:
Computer Graphics | Animation | Games | Extended Reality
My career has been focused on entertainment technology, blending practical experience with rigorous research. I have been fortunate to contribute to the international animation industry, working on titles such as Luck (2022), Penguins of Madagascar (2014), and Henry Hugglemonster (2013). Academically, I earned a PhD in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, an MFA in Digital Production Arts from Clemson University, and a BA in Physics and Mathematics from Cornell University.
Building upon this foundation of technical expertise and industry experience, my professional path has naturally evolved to encompass research and collaboration. Research on the perception of digital characters and virtual lighting has resulted in several publications and participation in initiatives like the EU SAUCE Project. These experiences brought me to CMKL University, where I continue to contribute to the fields of computer graphics, animation, games, and extended reality in Thailand.
The endless possibilities for innovation and creativity in my field are a constant source of motivation for my research. My research explores the perceptual principles of virtual character appearance and behavior, intelligent tools for content creation in virtual environments, and representation and interaction in extended reality. My work is driven by an interest in advancing entertainment technology, hoping to make it more immersive and interactive. As an Assistant Professor of Creative Technologies at CMKL University, I am interested in sharing knowledge and enthusiasm for the evolving world of digital media with the next generation of technologists and creators.
